Whopper Lust

Businesses get more and more creative on how they get their products to their customers in a smart and exciting way. For example: Whopper Lust.  It's almost advertising as a punishment.


The campaign is centered around DirecTV channel 111, which is airing endless footage of a spinning Whopper. If you watch for five minutes, you get a free Whopper. Watch for 10 minutes, and you get two free Whoppers. And so on. You have to pay attention, not just leave the channel on, you must respond to occasional prompts or you lose. It's cool because it's a new and creative way of advertising. You usually have to cut out a coupon to get a discount, bust this is much more fun. You will defenitely remember this advertisement, because it will be flame-broilled into your brain.

Runners graffiti the town

Much respect to a shoe company who created a video that starts with "Running is boring. "



It all starts with a cool app from Nike Amsterdam that let's fans map out running routes via satellite to create virtual graffiti art. The fans can challenge their friends to run the routes by coloring them on the map with the NikePlus app. Fans were also invited to running clubs and real life meet-up events to share runs, then celebrate with food, drinks and performances.


It's cool because it adds experience to the boring running work-out. It becomes even more fun when you can challenge other people and make a whole day out of it with your friends. It's also fast because the running routes can be planned out for you. This is exactly what the young and fast generation wants.

Want to smell like money?

Isn't it every rich guys' and soccer wifes' dream to smell like money? Real money?


The product is designed by former Microsoft VP Patrick McCarthy, who came up with the idea when he noticed how much he enjoyed the scent of dollar bills after taking them out of the cash withdrawal. 


Luckily, the perfume has more ingredients than just money. For the guys there's fresh ocean breezes and bright citrus notes, with rosemary, grass, and precious woods. The women get vibrant pink grapefruit and mandarin, with freesia, passion fruit, Hawaiian wedding flower, and a soft hint of melon. 


Just to take the whole idea to a next level, yes, another level! The bottles come packed in a box with $500 in real shredded US dollar bills. You know, so you can rub yourself with real money, apart from already smelling like it.


It's cool because it offers a true experience to "just wearing perfume." It makes you feel rich and special and 
the shredded dollar bills add another dimension to the experience of smelling rich.

Match your nailpolish with your car!


Volvo had the awesome idea to get more female volvo drivers by making nailpolish that matches their new Volvo s60 series. "Oh I wish I could wear that color on my nails!" is a thought I always have when I see a car with a pretty color. Now here's your chance to do so! 


Cosmic White, Vibrant Copper and Ember Black.
Volvo has also launched an exclusive collection of accessories and products designed to match the new S60, including an iPhone case, sunglasses, leather weekend bags, goatskin driving gloves, and a key-fob. 

It's cool because it offers a real experience to driving and it makes driving and cars more interesting for women. Women want to match everything, so this is a very original idea to do so. 

I think we should all get car-matching nail polish in the future, right?

Maison Moschino


What it is?
Just like the brand, Maison Moschino is exclusive. It's a hautel (a highclass hotel) in Milan with themerooms that offer a total experience of the theme you choose. The hautel also has a restaurant  and a Culti Spa. It should give you the feeling of effortless sophistication. 


Why it's cool?
In the time of the experience economy, even sleeping needs to be an experience. So when you want a nice experience, every little detail needs to be right. Everybody wants a special and personal treatment, and the hautel offers themes with great details for the needs of every person. Now this is sleeping!


Glass top housing


What it is?
It's a glass roof. The tiles are made from ordinary glass and are laid on black nylon canvas and wooden spacers. The air between the spacers heats when the sun shines and is then collected to warm the house.


Why it's cool?
It's as expensive as normal tiles, but in the end, this will save money, because this warms your house. It's good for your wallet and the environment and it looks cool

Add a personal style to your gravestone


What it is?
RosettaStone is a stone tablet with an embedded microchip with symbols that can be selected to show important milestones in the deceased's life. The chip can be preinstalled in a new gravestone or added to an existing one to create a memorial that will allow future visitors to read the deceased's story from a mobile phone. Both photos and text can be linked with any RosettaStone, including family information, achievements and relationships or even favourite recipes and philosophical beliefs. 

Why it's cool?
If we want experience, we really want it. Even deceased people want it. So why not add experience to a gravestone? With this stone you can discover more than a name and date and people can be remembered in way more ways than usual. Everyting will be technoligical in the future and so will gravestones be. People want to be remembered, so why not in this way?


The Adidas Runbase store


This is the Adidas runbase store: 6 shower cubicles and 248 lockers for rent, for example. Also available are a lot of special Adidas shoes and clothing available for borrowing. Expert staff are there to offer tips and recommendations, so runners can try a different combination of clothing each time they work out, because of this you can try and find the combination that works best for you.


It's cool because your not just buying Adidas products, you can try them out and compare them. It's a store that offers way more than usual. It's a cool experience because you can work out in the park of Tokyo and come back to the Adidas store to shower. It especially works well for the Urban Nomad that can just jump in the store to quickly take a shower after their work-out and to quickly go somewhere else next.

Portable wedding toilets


What it is?
Atlanta Watercloset provides exceptionally clean portable restrooms for outdoor weddings and other special events. With flush toilets, fresh-water sinks for hand-washing, interior lighting, mirrors, coat hooks, shelves and brand-name toilet paper.


Why it's cool?
In an over-the-top wedding, even going to the restroom should be an experience. This is the perfect example of how much we want to have an extra value added to life.

 In the wedding ring are a number of (replaceable) mini-slides that are projected when light is held behind the ring.

Why it's cool?
It's original, unique and very personal. You can see the important people in your life even by looking at your ring.

The "Bokito Kijker" let's you watch gorilla's without being attacked.

In the Netherlands, Bokito has become a real phenomenon. He attacked a woman that was looking at him in the Rotterdam Zoo.




What it is?
The Bokito Kijker or The Bokito Viewer, translated to English, is a piece of eyewear with an image of human eyes looking to one side. It has peekholes, so you can watch gorilla's without giving them the instinct to attack you.

Why it's cool?
The glasses are effective, that'll keep the gorilla's calm. Plus, watching groups of people walking around with those glasses might be way more fun than watching gorilla's!
