Runners graffiti the town

Much respect to a shoe company who created a video that starts with "Running is boring. "

It all starts with a cool app from Nike Amsterdam that let's fans map out running routes via satellite to create virtual graffiti art. The fans can challenge their friends to run the routes by coloring them on the map with the NikePlus app. Fans were also invited to running clubs and real life meet-up events to share runs, then celebrate with food, drinks and performances.


It's cool because it adds experience to the boring running work-out. It becomes even more fun when you can challenge other people and make a whole day out of it with your friends. It's also fast because the running routes can be planned out for you. This is exactly what the young and fast generation wants.

This is by far the easiest bag I've ever seen. This bag is as compact as any other laptopbag, but it's more like a mobile office; fold it open to a chair and a desk!

This is cool because it's all that an urban nomad needs. They want to work anywhere, at any time, with the least material to carry as possible. It's portable, multi-functional and transforming furniture, how cool?

Portable flat-pack light that fits in your wallet!

As with so many creative product designs, what makes this so appealing is its combined simplicity and functionality. This portable lamp fits easily in your wallet or pocket, unlike most flashlights. Apparently, this light provides illumination all around it. This is ideal for reading and other activities where you don't have a lamp near.

It's cool because it fits the needs of instant gratification. It's super easy to use and it's very easy to take with you. You don't need electrition either, so you can use it anywhere you want. It also has a very original design which will probably be liked by a lot of people.

Easy mug

This mug comes with a pocket to put your biscuit in, this makes it easy to carry everything when your hands are full with your laptop and it keeps your table clean too. I think this is a funny way to keep everything in reach.

Jewelry mp3 player

Most of us are permanently attached to our mp3 players or iPods these days. Most of them don't really have a feminin look, so this mp3-jewelry is a better option for us girls.

The earphone part of this design fits just inside the ear, while an attached chain leads down to a small earring worn in the wearer’s pierced earlobe. Besides adding a nice touch, the chain would probably help to ensure that the earphone doesn’t fall out and rolls away. The MP3 player section of the design is a bracelet that matches the earrings. This makes a set of nice accessories that even play your favourite music and are always close to you in a nice way!

It's cool because it looks very nice and feminin and you even have your music in it! how cool is that?

Built-In Toothpaste

The Twist&Brush  from Studio KG is not just a toothbrush, this one has toothpaste intergrated in it. With a simple twist, you can push a precise amount of toothpaste on your brush. It's cool because it's refillable and easy to clean and it's the perfect item for an urban nomad that wants to go everywhere anytime with as least products as possible. 

It's cool because it's easy to use, to re-use, and it's sustainable! It also saves space because you only need to take one product with you instead of two. Sometimes, simple just wins! 

The Adidas Runbase store

This is the Adidas runbase store: 6 shower cubicles and 248 lockers for rent, for example. Also available are a lot of special Adidas shoes and clothing available for borrowing. Expert staff are there to offer tips and recommendations, so runners can try a different combination of clothing each time they work out, because of this you can try and find the combination that works best for you.

It's cool because your not just buying Adidas products, you can try them out and compare them. It's a store that offers way more than usual. It's a cool experience because you can work out in the park of Tokyo and come back to the Adidas store to shower. It especially works well for the Urban Nomad that can just jump in the store to quickly take a shower after their work-out and to quickly go somewhere else next.

An outside gym

Usually, excercising outside means dull jogging, That's over now. 

Nearby my house, they placed a course of fitness equipment and shields with instructions that explain how to use the equipment and how long you have to use it.

It's cool because for people with busy lives, like the urban nomads, it's good to have excercise material nearby when you're on the way. It's also a nice way to be outside and to work out at the same time. People like to be in nature more, so this is a good initiative.
