Yummy Mummy Buggy/Bike

This is the perfect accessory for a Yummy Mummy. Taga is a buggy that turns into a bike in 20 seconds and 6 easy steps. Mothers and fathers can pedal their children from home to the park or shops and still have the convenience of a pushchair once they arrive.

The bike saves on costly petrol and parking charges and helps protect the environment because it is carbon emission free.

It's cool because it easy to use, it's sustainable and it makes you look like a cool, multi-tasking and caring mom!

Lifestyleweek II Day III

Day III - "So this is our lunch?"

Today my group and I went to Breda to accomplish the tasks that another group made for us the day before. Again, we sent a picture of our group to a teacher and got the tasks.

Task 1: Choose a type of person that you want to follow. Look for 5 people with that type and take a picture with them. We chose to take pictures of militaries and managed to find 5 of them. We also had to make a creative picture of ourselves in the parc of Breda.

Task 2: Go to a school and try to sneek in a class. Make a picture of it. We managed to get in a classroom and we took a picture. That was an exciting task!

Task 3: Go to the restaurant "Flinstering" to make your own lunch. I love cooking so this seemed so nice. When we got there, the waiter gave us all a candle and gave us the task to trade the candles for something to eat. None of us expected that this would be our lunch so that was a suprise for us.

We went to the market and tried to trade our candles for tomatoes and eggs. We also got some bread. We went back to "Flinstering" and the nice waiter said he would get a meal for us with our ingredients! We we all so excited because we managed to get a free meal in such a nicely designed restaurant by just trading small candles. After a while the waiter came back with baked eggs on bread and it tasted very good!

Special task 1: get as high as possible in Breda and make a picture of it.

Michelle with a militair - Special task 2: My group throwing tomatoes at me a la Jack ass

I really enjoyed today. The most exciting part for me was that we managed to get a warm meal by trading candles for ingredients. It takes courage to come up to people and ask for that, so the task was daring. I liked Lifestyleweek II more than I thought I would, so I'm looking forward to the next one!

Lifestyleweek II Day II

Day II - "Wow, this is like a tv game!"
Today was all about creating an exciting day in the city. My group went to Utrecht. We had to take a picture of our group and we had to send it to a teacher to get our task for the day. When I heard what our task was, the first thing that came up in my head was: "Wow, this is like a tv game!" I like watching challenging tv programs like "Wie is de Mol?" that are full of challenging tasks and now we had to make a day for another group of students just like that. The day needed to have 3 dare-tasks and 1 needed to be hidden somewhere. During the day we got some special tasks that we needed to accomplish too.

We started brainstorming and searching for information about Utrecht at Mc Donald's. We came up with these tasks:

Task 1: Hidden task. We gave the other group a poem and they had to find out who wrote it and where in Utrecht the poem is located. They had to go to the VVV office and if they gave the right answers, the VVV employees would give them the key to a locker that had another task in it. The real task was: Recreate the magazine outfits that are in the locker. Make a picture of them in the same position and facial expressions and put it on twitter. This task is exciting and daring because you have to work for the next task, making pictures in a store isn't allowed and you have to wear things that you normally wouldn't.

Task 2: Ask people about what they don't dare to do and what they would like to dare. Imitate their fears and make a picture of them. This task is daring because you have to go to strangers and talk about personal things  with them.

Task 3: Give 15 people a "Merry Christmas kiss." Again you have to go to strangers and you have to get out of your comfort zone and step in to theirs.

Special tasks for our group: Make a picture in the window of a clothing store and  Make a pyramid in a creative way

I had a lot of fun today because we could do whatever we wanted. We had to work together all day and it's really nice that another group will really be doing what we came up with. I'm looking forward to tomorrow!

Lifestyleweek II Day I

Lifestyleweek II was all about daring. Daring to ask, daring to do something different and daring to overcome your fears. There were rumors about what we had to do, because all we knew was that we had to wear warm clothes and that we had to be outside all day. So I made sure I was prepared!

Day I - "Just let go and trust your fellow students!"
Behind the warm wellness center Thermen in Son en Breugel, we were outside, in the snow. "What a contrast to start of your day, but don't judge yet, it might be fun!" We were divided in groups that had to do a parcours of different dare-activities. It was all about trusting the people in your group, cooperating with them and overcoming your fears.

In the "spiderweb" we had to work together to get everyone through the holes in the net, without touching the net or going through the same hole more than once. Because of those rules, other students had to get me through the net by picking me up, and passing me over to other students on the other side of the net. This was about cooperation, trust and creative thinking.

There were more activities that involved climbing and abseiling. I've done these things before, but because this time I had to climb up a tree in stead of a climbing  wall, I was a little harder for me.

Over all I liked most of the activities, because with some, I overcame my fears and all the activities were really binding. For me, most of the activities weren't too hard, because I don't have a fear of hight and most things were up high. It was interesting to see that other people really had to overcome their fears and that they had a hard time trusting other students. For instance: we had to climb up a ladder and let ourselves fall into the hands of the other students. Some students were really scared, so I heard comments like "Just let go and trust your fellow students!"
