An outside gym

Usually, excercising outside means dull jogging, That's over now. 

Nearby my house, they placed a course of fitness equipment and shields with instructions that explain how to use the equipment and how long you have to use it.

It's cool because for people with busy lives, like the urban nomads, it's good to have excercise material nearby when you're on the way. It's also a nice way to be outside and to work out at the same time. People like to be in nature more, so this is a good initiative.

Fastfruit

What it is?

Fastfruit is an machine with fruit from local growers. In stead of getting snacks "out of the wall" in Rotterdam Central Station, you can get fresh fruit. The fruit costs about €0,30 and you can choose to make smoothies etc.

Why it's cool?

It's quite cheap, it's healty, you can get it when your in a rush to your work. Fastfruit is trying to expand to other stations in the Netherlands, so everyone will be able to get fastfruit in stead of fastfood.

Wedding ring projects pictures

"As an artist, you can't just give your fiancé a simple wedding ring." That's what Luke Jerram thought.

What it is?

 In the wedding ring are a number of (replaceable) mini-slides that are projected when light is held behind the ring.

Why it's cool?

It's original, unique and very personal. You can see the important people in your life even by looking at your ring.

The "Bokito Kijker" let's you watch gorilla's without being attacked.

In the Netherlands, Bokito has become a real phenomenon. He attacked a woman that was looking at him in the Rotterdam Zoo.

What it is?

The Bokito Kijker or The Bokito Viewer, translated to English, is a piece of eyewear with an image of human eyes looking to one side. It has peekholes, so you can watch gorilla's without giving them the instinct to attack you.

Why it's cool?
The glasses are effective, that'll keep the gorilla's calm. Plus, watching groups of people walking around with those glasses might be way more fun than watching gorilla's!

Spink keeps you from knocking over your drinks

You're making homework, you're almost done, you spill your drink and you can start all  over. Here's the solution: "Spink".

What it is?

The Spink, short for "Never SPIll another drINK." is a cuffee cup holder that holds mugs, bottles, soda cans and take-out cups. You can stick The Spink to your desk by pressing down the inside lever. 

Why it's cool?

Spink can help clumsy people make their study-or-officetime a little less hard. It's hard to spill and if you do, you don't have to clean your whole desk. It's easy and it works.
